What data do we collect?

We collect the following personal data when you use this website:

  • The day of the week (As in: Monday, Tuesday, …)
  • Your device type (As in Phone, Tablet or Computer)
  • The date of the visit
  • From which other website a visit originated.
  • Your browser (As in: Firefox, Chrome, Microsoft Edge, …)
  • The hour component of the current time in a day
  • A country mapped to your IP address.
  • Your operating system (As in: Windows or Mac)
  • Information on your screen size
  • Your preferred language


These data points are saved anonymously aggregated on a hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and overall basis. We delete hourly, daily, weekly and monthly statistics after a certain time period. We can e.g. access data from this month, but not data from last month. We do not keep single data points but only statistical, that is aggregated data.

How do we store your data?

The IP address is stored in log files of our hosting provider, Strato AG. We also use the tool "Counter" for generic website analytics. Counter securely stores your data with their hosting provider, Linode LLC. They use server resources and services hosted in Frankfurt, Germany.

What are your data protection rights?

Every user is entitled to the following: The right to access - You have the right to request copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service. The right to rectification - You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request to complete information you believe is incomplete. The right to erasure - You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions. The right to restrict processing - You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions. The right to object to processing - You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions. The right to data portability - You have the right to request that we transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions. Cookies

The only cookie wie set is the one indicating whether or not you accepted the terms in the privacy policy. This is technically necessary. No personal data is stored in that cookie.
